Why did you choose this profession?
I chose engineering as I have always been good with numbers, but during my degree I found more passion and enjoyment in the construction management modules leading me to pursue a role in quantity surveying.
What sectors would you be interested in working in?
Pre-construction & cost consultancy / main contracting & subcontracting/ civils & utilities / energy.
Where do you see your career in 5 years’ time?
Ideally working towards chartership working mainly in an office with a clear progression goals and work alongside experienced individuals.
What do you like to do in your spare time?
I like to follow and interact with financial markets as well as watching and playing football and improving my strength and fitness in the gym.

What qualities can you bring to a business?
The role of a Quantity Surveyor involves strong analytical skill with attention to detail. These are two of my greatest strengths and by doing a degree in civil engineering I believe I have knowledge of building and construction.
