Ever since we were the first Recruitment Agency to achieve the Community Mark standard through Business in the Community back in 2007, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) has been an intrinsic part of our business and remains so today.
During the first half of 2019, a third of our workforce have been involved in CSR activity across a range of roles (such as conducting mock interviews, cv preparation workshops and talking in schools about careers in construction and running your own business) working with a variety of different organisations (such as DYW, Habitat for Humanity, Women in Property etc) as well as organising events internally through our Charities Committee. In addition to this, we supported five job shadow placements through our Constructing Futures division as well as meeting and arranging interviews for several additional candidates.
Our total contribution, calculated as the impact of our activity as well as the time spent and raised by staff came to an impressive ﾣ10,184. Thanks to everyone in the business who has given up their time, expertise and utilised the knowledge we possess for the benefit of others.
