Monday’s CV Workshop at held at the CCA, Glasgow proved very popular! Myself and my colleagues Amber Mitchell and Jamie Porter were on hand to answer any and all questions regarding the job application process interviewing and CVs.
The reason for us putting together this event was based on feedback from clients communicating that, at times, Graduates can be poorly prepared for interview. We felt that we could help resolve this issue by using our 26 years’ experience to help prepare graduates for Civil Engineering job applications and interview techniques.
Over 20 students attended, a real mix of 3rd year, 4th year and Masters Civil Engineering Students from Glasgow and Strathclyde Universities. The majority of students were keen to get advice on their CV and get more information about getting a work placement and ultimately a job.
The feedback after the event was great and showed that the event was worthwhile.
Due to the popularity of the event we have a follow up Interview Workshop taking place in early November.
