IMPORTANT INFORMATION: The grace period for the Site Safety Plus scheme has been removed to bring the scheme in line with other Cskills Awards products.
The CITB-Construction Skills Site Safety Plus - Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS) was created to assist site managers and potential site managers, to develop knowledge, awareness and understanding of their legal, moral and social responsibilities in respect of health, safety and welfare on construction sites
Who Should Attend?:
The SMSTS course covers topics such as; undertaking suitable risk assessments for a construction site, scaffolding, electricity, fire safety, confined spaces, CDM and much more. This makes SMSTS training essential for construction site managers in order to comply with all associated legislation, as well as ensuring a safe construction site as those working in the construction industry spend their time in some of the most hazardous of working environments.
What Will I Learn?:
The SMSTS course is one of the most highly respected qualifications for those who are responsible for the management of construction activities. The majority of employers that we work with insist that all their site managers hold the certificate.
Upon completion, successful attendees will be awarded the Site Safety Plus CITB Construction Site Management Safety Training Certificate. This certificate will remain valid for 5 years.
Who are we? What do we think is important? Who do we have partnerships with? Are we hiring? So many questions.
Good job we’ve got the answers then:
If you’re thinking of hiring Contract Scotland, you’ll want to know what kind of company we are. So here are the three main values in our DNA.
As a recruitment consultancy, we value our people. They’re the ideas, the hard work, the diligence and the reason we keep running out of chocolate digestives.
Our average staff retention rate is a whopping 72% higher than the industry standard, so clearly people like working here. Or they have no homes to go to.
Is it Teddy Sheringham? Is it Colin Woodward? Who Knows...
