Contract Scotland are delighted to be working with a central based multi-disciplined pharmaceutical company, as they look to appoint an Accounts Assistant to join their busy team. Working in a busy accounts department, as part of this your role, your responsibility will include the following:

• Updating cashflow
• P&L balance sheet preparation
• Bank reconciliation
• Payment application control
• Checking/processing invoices
• Processing purchase ledger, sales ledger and cashbooks
• Credit checking/monitoring
• Assisting in preparation of management accounts and profit reports

To be suited to this role you must be able to demonstrate a proven track record in a similar role. You must have an ability to problem solve as well as being able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines whilst maintaining the highest standard of work.
