Senior Architectural Technician
Contract Scotland are looking for a Senior Architectural Technician to join a growing housebuilder who is looking to progress and develop along with them while working on major high profile projects.
Although this company is new to Scotland they have almost a century of housebuilding experience taking with them a wealth of knowledge in the private affordable housing sector.

As Senior Architectural Technician you will:
Obtaining Technical Drawings and approvals to enable efficient site starts
Minimising risk through unco-ordinated information
Brief, manage and drive the external consultants in the preparation and issue of production information to an agreed programme, fee and scope
Prepare technical specifications in line with requirements determined by the Land Acquisition budget and Technical/Sales Meetings
Oversee the NHBC/Building Regulations applications to approval
The ideal candidate for this position will have a formal qualification in Architectural Technology at either HND or Degree level. They will also have experience working within a construction company or private practice on residential builds. Excellent communication skills are needed as is a hard working attitude and a flair for design. Experience in using AutoCAD is also required for this role.

In return for the perfect candidate our client is willing to offer a very competitive package of £40,000 to £50,000 with a company car/ car allowance.
