A Dunfermline based Private Practice is seeking to grow it's team with the addition of an experienced Technician or Assistnt Architect.
The firm have a varied portfolio ranging from bespoke private residential projects to large scale retail and commercial developments as well as social housing and care homes.
They are looking for a Technician or Assistant Architect who is qualified to at least HND level in Architectural Technology and who has several years-experience of creating working drawings, producing production information, preparation of building warrants and ensuring the planning and design success of each project.
The role will also involve site visits, working closely with contractors on each project as liaising with the relevant local authority, offering a rounded career opportunity for the right person.
The firm use both AutoCAD and Revit in the design process and are keen to expand their already strong Revit capability, therefore any candidates with good Revit experience will be given strong preference, although they offer excellent training in the software.
Candidates must however be familiar with UK planning regulations, have produced multiple building warrant drawings be able to produce accurate and detailed drawings and will ideally have a portfolio consisting of both residential and commercial projects.
