A specialist land remediation firm is looking to recruit a Quantity Surveyor to join their growing team in Scotland. With growing reliance on the re-development of brownfield sites in Scotland, this company is very well placed to take advantage of the many opportunities that are available in the local market.

As Quantity Surveyor you will support the business in the profitable and timely delivery of projects, mainly engaged in NEC 3 contract terms.

Specifically you will be involved in:
• Placing and managing cub-contract orders
• Preparation of variations/compensation events in line with contract terms
• Issuing contractual letter/notices and any other appropriate documentation in support of additional payment, variations, claims etc.
• Applications for payment
• Preparation of final accounts
• Preparation of cost /value reports
• Assisting in the timely resolution of claims/disputes as they occur

To apply for this role you should be:
• Educated to degree level in Quantity Surveying
• Able to demonstrate a sound contract knowledge of NEC3
• Experience working for a heavy civils, earthworks or remediation contractor
• A career minded individual who aspires to continued professional development
