Associate/Director – PQS

Location: Glasgow
Salary: DOE
Reference: J23538
Contract Type: Permanent
Working Hours: Full-time
Created: 1st August 2022
Closing: 29th August 2022

A position that truly bucks the trend of offering a voice in the business, rather this this newly registered Associate role offers an opportunity to genuinely influence the direction of the business with the longer term offer of Directorship & ownership for the right individual. Contract Scotland’s Cost Consultancy are delighted to have the opportunity to partner with a privately owned consultancy who are looking for an Associate/Director level candidate to join their practice in Glasgow as part of their strategic growth plans.

Having gone through a successful, and sustainable, period of continue growth and on the back of new project wins the practice have a need to bring on a strategic hire that will influence key decisions within the business and have a first hand say in the development and growth plans for the Glasgow office. You’ll be working alongside a group of experienced surveyors and be steered by a board of directors who have taken ownership of the business in recent years and have a modern, dynamic view of their plans to expand.

As part of this role, you’ll be working on technically challenging projects – some of which range from £100K small works to high value £40m – which buck the trend of the traditional volume works that are in the market and also be charged with the task of seeking new opportunities to bring in work for the practice. You’ll be a key decision maker and influencer within the business whilst offering your technical skills to staff to develop them. You’ll be a chartered surveyor with a demonstrable background in taking charge on projects as well as seeking to bring in new works for the future of the company.

This is a business with a secured workload through repeat business, a forward thinking leadership team and a portfolio of works that differ from others in the market. Needless to say a role with this potential comes with very competitive benefits package including a leading salary.

If you’re interested in having a confidential discussion regarding this opportunity please get in touch with Grant Dalziel, quoting J23538 or submit your Cv for consideration.
