Contract Scotland are recruiting for a market leader in principal civil engineering who are seeking to appoint a Bid Manager to add to their continued success in the UK construction market.

Our client are well known for being one of the biggest names in the civil engineering market, delivering high value energy, highway, flood prevention, rail and marine projects.

This contractor distinguishes itself with their well-constructed and delivered continuous professional development initiatives. We've seen first-hand the positive impact these have had on employees within this business, enabling a level of growth that has accelerated careers and offered exposure to several complex engineering schemes. It's no surprise that this contractor has an extremely low level of staff turnover.

The role offers the opportunity for an established Bid Manager to put their own stamp on a newly formed pre-construction team. You will be required to lead and develop bid strategies, securing new clients whilst maintaining successful long standing relationships with several others.

Alternatively, front end construction may be new to you, you may be a civil engineer interested in gaining a new skillset in bid co-ordination, estimating or planning. Cultural fit is most important to our client. A passion to contribute to exceptional, sustainable engineering coupled with a well-structured and supportive team offers an excellent foundation for building a successful career within pre-construction.

To be considered for this role, you must hold a minimum of a HNC qualification in civil engineering or equivalent.

If you feel like this role aligns with your skillset and career aspirations, please submit your CV to Laura Sinclair.
