We currently have a requirement for a Bid Writer/Manager based in City Centre Edinburgh. Our client, a Bidding & Tender Expert/Consultancy will give the successful applicant an opportunity to work with a reputable organisation who provide a wide range of services. The post holder will take ownership of and submit completed professional bids to existing or prospective clients; you will also produce creative and innovative bid solutions. This process must be delivered on time and to the requirements of the invitation to tender; the Bid Writer/Manager MUST also be able to interpret their clients' operational practice and procedures into proposals which promote/sell the organisations in their chosen markets.
You should be able to communicate effectively (verbally and written) and you should be able to demonstrate previous examples of delivering effective engagement strategies for the purposes of the role.
What do you need to apply?
The suitable candidate will have in depth knowledge and understanding of the end to end bid/tender process and will be able to successfully demonstrate a proven track record within a bid writing position. You will come with excellent interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to liaise with both internal and external stakeholders. You will also be self-motivated and have a proactive approach. Having in depth knowledge and understanding of the Scottish construction market, will be advantageous.
