An innovative Industrial Engineering firm, working with cutting edge technology and methodologies are looking to recruit a Biologist to assist in the delivery of their projects across Scotland. The role will be primarily office based with projects situated mainly in the Highlands and Islands of Scotland.

Utilising their own in house modular technologies and DFMA methodologies, they offer a full turnkey service to their clients. They are looking for a forward-thinking Biologist who is prepared to embrace their approach, taking a positive-minded view, working collaboratively across a range of engineering disciplines with the aim of delivering a high-quality product to clients.

Working across Scotland, often in remote areas, the business will cover subsistence costs as well as paying highly competitive salaries ensuring your efforts will be well rewarded.

As the leading Biologist within Scotland, you will assist the senior management and delivery teams in all aspects of the projects which include;

• Responsibility for training of customer operating personnel before and after commissioning of each ModulRAS.
• Responsibility for maintaining frequent contact with the operating personnel on each site, and for offering good biological and technical support during commissioning, normal operation and especially during challenging times.
• Contribute to the work of continuously updating and improving the training and support materials, including e-learning courses, onsite courses, and the online operations manual.
• Contribute to the client’s strategic R&D activities.
• Good communication and cooperation with customers.
• Responsibility for internal training of biology and water quality.

The right candidate should be;

• Educated to a minimum of degree level in an suitable scientific subject
• Have demonstrable experience delivering technical guidance and input to projects and delivery teams
• Collaborative minded, with highly developed communication skills.
