Bonus Surveyor

Contract Scotland are pleased to be working along-side a well-established Development and Construction group, who deliver the highest standard of public and private sector projects across Southern and Central Scotland. Specialising in public-sector housing, our client has a reputation for quality and have gone on to successfully complete a diverse range of building projects within education, healthcare, residential and commercial sectors. As a Bonus Surveyor, you will assist with measuring and reporting weekly costs on all directly delivered operatives, CIS & Labour and sub-contractors to ensure appropriate control measures are in place. Your duties will include but are not limited to:
• Review tender allowances with the senior management team.
• Liaise with the technical team on regular basis.
• Liaise with senior management and review all estimating rates and agree target cost
• Ensure targets are implemented in advance of works commencing
• Input measures and costs into profit and loss sheets weekly
• Liaise with operatives weekly and agree correct measurements / targets are being reported
• Report on weekly targets
• Attend weekly meetings to review Timesheets and Bonus Payments, Inform management of any dayworks/deductions from all self-delivery operatives
• Ensure all bonus documentation is compiled and completed timeously, recording all bonus/measure payments
• Ensure compliance with the Health & Safety Management System
• Contribute to the Company's Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives.

To apply for this position you should have:
• Previous surveying experience - either workplace or education
• Good knowledge of current health & safety regulations, construction techniques, building standards and construction regulations mainly in Joinery and Brickwork
• Excellent communications and interpersonal skills
