Building Services Manager

Contract Scotland are working closely with a large main contractor in Central Scotland to source a Building Services Manager. A leader in the Scottish construction industry, this family-owned business has an impressive portfolio across the public and private sectors and a proud history of developing and promoting talent.

As Building Services Manager, you will play a crucial role in coordinating and appointing mechanical and electrical subcontractors, assisting with the management of the commissioning process, and providing technical support to project and design teams on M&E matters to ensure the success of all M&E requirements of the project. You will be an integral member of the senior management team and will be comfortable and motivated in working collaboratively toward the success of a shared goal.

To be considered for this role, you will have demonstrable mechanical and electrical experience within the construction industry, a strong working understanding of M&E principles, practices, and industry standards, and have expert communication skills. A Mechanical Engineering background is preferred but not essential.

In return, you will receive a salary in the range of £50,000 – £60,000, depending on experience, a generous benefits package, and the opportunity for career development.
