Due to continued growth, Contract Scotland are currently seeking a skilled Buyer to join our clients team in the Bellshill area, who will work in an extremely fast paced purchasing department ensuring cost-effectiveness and quality.

The successful candidate should posses excellent attention to detail and should be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office packages.

Working hours are Monday-Friday 8-5. This is a full time office based position.

Responsibilities:

– Develop and implement procurement strategies to support the business objectives
– Source, select, and negotiate with suppliers to obtain the best terms in price, quality, and delivery
– Review and process purchase orders for accuracy and compliance with organisational policies
– Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their requirements and provide procurement support
– Monitor supplier performance and resolve any issues that may arise
– Maintain accurate records of purchases and pricing
– Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and new products
