Contract Scotland has a fantastic opportunity to join our client, a family-run Civil Engineering Contractor, who predominantly specialise in groundworks for housing developments. Based in Cambuslang, they’re looking to add a CAD Technician to join their growing team.

Focusing largely on groundworks projects, you will play a vital role as part of the company’s Engineering team and be supported in your development by the Engineering Manager, senior site engineers and land surveyors. You’ll be office-based working closely with the Engineering Manager with occasional site visits.

You will be responsible for using AutoCAD to do cut and fill calculations using Trimble Business Centre software as data prep for the engineers out of the park.

What do you need to apply?

• Previous experience within a similar role within the Civil Engineering sector within groundworks is desirable but training will be given.
• Proficient in all aspects of AutoCAD, ideally both 2D and 3D.
• Experience using Trimble Business Centre Software – desirable
• Background in site engineering or land surveying
