Civil Engineering Technician – Development Infrastructure
We are looking for an intermediate Civil Engineering Technician to join a privately owned Glasgow-based National Engineering Design Consultancy. Within this role you will be exposed to an exciting range of civil engineering projects covering all stages from feasibility through to detailed design. You will be based in the Glasgow office working on projects both here in Scotland and throughout the rest of the UK.
As a Civil Engineering Technician your daily duties and responsibilities will include the production of high quality detailed designs for civil infrastructure projects in the transportation and building sectors (both public and private). You will also undertake supervision of less experienced members of the civils team in order to assist with their continual professional development, whilst working closely with the senior management team.
The successful applicant will...
- HND qualified in Civil Engineering (or equivalent)
- Have experience within roads & drainage design
- Possess prior design consultancy experience
- Proficiency in the use of software packages such as PDS & MicroDrainage is desirable
- Be willing to learn from senior members within the workplace
