Our client, a well established and reputable Civil Engineering Main Contractor with an annual turnover of £100 million, are looking to recruit an Estimator to join their civil engineering team on a permanent basis in Surrey. A recent run of successful project wins in the Surrey area has resulted in them looking to expand and grow their existing team in order to deliver the additional workload.

As the Estimator covering projects largely across South of England, you will play a pivotal role in the success of the company in the region. Our client is looking for an experienced Estimator who will work on multiple projects from tender through to final account, which will be of a civil engineering nature.

As an estimator you will work closely with the management team and will be responsible for:
• The effective registration, control and administration of tender documentation.
• Develop detailed and achievable packages and agree with the end clients.
• Take offs from drawings and production of cost-effective tenders from first principles.
• The effective analysis and pricing of risks.
• The preparation of tender submission documents and estimating reports.
• Provide assistance for proposals and contract management functions.
Essential requirements:
• A degree in a relevant subject or the equivalent estimating in a similar role.
• Groundwork and Civil engineering project experience
• Experience as an Estimator in a groundwork organisation
