Civil/Structural Design Engineers
Are you a city based Civil or Structural Design Engineer who has ever harboured thoughts of escaping to a rural area? If so, your skills are in demand in the North of Scotland. We are currently dealing with several requirements on behalf of Design Consultancies situated across the Scottish Highlands, Morayshire and Aberdeenshire regions.
These are some of the most scenic parts of Scotland and these roles offer a genuine chance to make real changes in both your personal and professional life. These roles sit within a range of small to medium sized Engineering Consultancies with growing workloads in the domestic, public and private sector building markets.
We are co-ordinating requirements from Graduate to Associate level within these consultancies. To apply you will require;
Minimum degree level qualification in civil or structural engineering
Experience in a design consultancy environment
Demonstrable experience in design of building structures (including masonry, timber and steel) and/or roads and drainage infrastructure.
Either graduate for chartered membership of ICE or IStructETypical regional salary levels range from:
Graduate Engineer; £21,000 - £30,000 DoE
Senior Engineer; £30,000 - £40,000 DoE
Principal Engineer; £40,000 - £45,000 DoE
Associate; £45,000 - £55,000
Wider benefits packages will be in line with individual company offerings.
The longer-term outlook within the rural Scottish market remains healthy. These consultancies cater for both the local rural markets but also city developments in Inverness and Aberdeen so can offer a variety of interesting engineering challenges. A historic shortage in skills within these areas continues unabated, so if you are a Civil or Structural Engineer, your skills are in high demand.
