An innovative Industrial Engineering firm, working with cutting edge technology and methodologies are looking to recruit a Commercial Manager or Senior Quantity Surveyor to assist in the delivery of their projects across Scotland. The role will be primarily office based in Stirling with projects situated mainly in the Highlands and Islands of Scotland.

Utilising their own in house modular technologies and DFMA methodologies, they offer a full turnkey service to their clients. They are looking for a forward-thinking commercial candidate who is prepared to embrace their approach, taking a positive-minded view, working collaboratively across a range of engineering disciplines with the aim of delivering a high-quality product to clients.

Working across Scotland, often in remote areas, the business will cover subsistence costs as well as paying highly competitive salaries ensuring your efforts will be well rewarded.

As the leading commercial contact within Scotland, you will assist the senior management and delivery teams in all aspects of the projects which include;

• Responsibility for commercial running of projects across Scotland
• Providing updates to senior management on projects including
• Contribute to work on continuously updating and improving the training and support materials within the business
• Contribute to the client’s strategic R&D activities.
• Commercial management of logistics including international imports to ensure compliance
• Good communication and cooperation with customers.

The right candidate should be;

• Have demonstrable experience delivering technically complex commercial projects
• Suitably qualified in relevant commercial discipline
• An understanding of international tax implications from imports would be advantageous although not necessary
• Collaborative minded, with highly developed communication skills.
