We currently have requirement for a Communications Assistant to work with a renowned Civil Engineering Contractor based Edinburgh.

Day to day the role is diverse and involves a considerable amount of internal and external stakeholder management, but the main purpose is to engage & communicate with the general public, customer services (resolving complaints & queries), community liaison to maintain positive relationships, assisted public relations and general administration.

At the heart of the role is being able to maintain positive relationships to ensure objectives are maintained throughout the course of the construction programme and beyond. The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate a proven track record in a similar role and a background in construction is not essential but desirable. This role will primarily be based in Edinburgh with travel required between office and site; this means the successful candidate will ideally hold a full driving license and access to a car.
