Our Clients involvement in the Timber Industry is steeped in knowledge passed down literally through generations. On offer is a high-quality product supplied to a wide customer base, from Individuals looking for a Timber Frame for a one-off build to large well-known developers looking for volume and efficiency, they do it all. As a supply only Timber Kit manufacturer they provide solutions not only to house builders but also to large Construction companies taking on their next big build project.
Naturally this flexibility in approach as well as breadth of knowledge will need to be present in their Design Team. The successful Candidate will oversee the Design Office in a Management capacity, providing support and guidance to other members of the team. As this business is based between both Scotland and Ireland the post holder will also be, the majority of their time being spent within the Scottish Business.
A proven track record Managing a Team is essential for this role as well as a strong Technical background. Ideally you will have worked within a Timber Frame environment Managing a team of Designers but we would also be keen to hear from those from an Architectural background. The below is representative but not exhaustive:
  • Line Management of the entire Design Team
  • Supervision as well as production of detailed Construction Drawings
  • Advise the Team on CDM Regs and NHBC standards where required
  • Co-ordination with external Consultants and Designers
