If you have an electrical trades background or experience within the commercial side of the electrical contracting sphere and are looking for your next role then please read on! Our client is looking to recruit an electrical Estimator/Supervisor someone who is a problem solver and outside-the-box thinker.
They are smaller privately owned Electrical Contracting business operating across the Central belt who have operated in their field for well over 100 years, maintaining a busy but secure business which has expanded in recent years now boasting multi-sector services including building, maintenance and electrical installation. You will have the opportunity to get involved with and lead during complex and interesting tender processes for interesting projects and show commitment to helping deliver quality and timely results within budget.
In joining them you will be part of their commercial unit and Electrical division, the largest aspect of their business where you will use your technical and electrical trades knowledge to produce cost effective tender across various projects including traditional electrical installation on building projects in some niche sectors and live environments. This will include industrial sector work as well as street lighting projects direct to local authority clientele.
The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate a knowledge and experience in building tenders and have a minimum of 5 years experience in this role and a current electrical grade card. Your working days will be Monday - Friday with an early finish on Fridays. In return you will receive an annual salary of between £41,250 and £45,000 per annum and be provided with a company vehicle, pension contribution, private healthcare and 30 holiday days a year.
