If you are from an Electrical background within the Building Services Contracting sector and have an interest and passion in being responsible for the operational management and engineering over larger scale M&E Building Services projects, then this is a rare opportunity to become a part of one of an established contractor who have an exceptional reputation and passion for a high quality installation.
This contractor who conduct £20mil of work per annum across the West Coast of Scotland are currently implementing a longer-term growth strategy in conjunction with winning multiple projects as part of being an exclusive partner across a variety of new build and refurbishment works primarily within the defence sector. Effectively the role of Electrical Project Engineer will encompass the delivery of Electrical Building Services projects up to the value of where you'd oversee a large team of tradesmen, specialist sub-contractors as well as a team of project engineers and on-site management staff as well as ensuring the commercial success across projects.
The successful applicant will use the technical expertise to lead the Electrical Engineering function on major, key projects across the framework. Finding cost effective solutions to any issues on projects and an ability to still not compromise on quality whilst fully managing a large labour force and specialist sub-contractors is a major facet of this role. On top of this, you will play a key part in the commercial reporting and commercial success of projects as well as being the main point of contact for the client.
Perhaps you're currently working for an M&E Building Services contractor in either an Electrical Project Management or Electrical Project Engineering capacity and you are looking for a new challenge by leading the day to day engineering on various projects within a forward-thinking Building Services Contractor who can offer genuine long term job security.
At this stage, you'll need to be able to demonstrate Electrical Project Engineering/Management experience in an M&E Building Services organisation. You should have a wide and well developed commercial awareness' as well as a track record on delivering on multiple projects. In order to start in this position you will be required to pass the various requirements to obtain a security clearance pass.
On top of working with a business which has a track record of promoting from within and that can offer long term job security and continuity of work, you can expect an annual salary of £40k-£50k per annum including a benefits package which includes car allowance, matched pension contribution and private healthcare.
