If you are from an Electrical Project Management background within the Building Services sector and have an interest in being responsible for the day to day project management over multiple commercial building services projects this is a rare opportunity to become a part of one of Scotland's leading M&E Building Services providers based across projects throughout Edinburgh and Central Scotland
This is an opportunity to join an extensive construction and M&E contractor which has a specific division which operates as a main build principal contractor with it's own in house M&E delivery function and is currently experiencing a period of sustained growth due to various project awards. Joining an existing diverse and passionate projects team, you'll be responsible for the full Electrical project management across multiple small to medium sized refurbishment, fit-out and extension projects across a variety of public and private sector work such as school extensions. On top of this you will join a truly modern and dynamic business who have developed a strong positive working culture which is built around it's family owned ethos where they one of the most stable and secure employers in the Construction industry today.
For this position, the successful individual will bring their technical expertise and commercial acumen to lead the Electrical engineering function on various commercial projects for the organisation working with a close knit team as well as direct to end user clientele. Finding cost effective solutions to any issues on projects and an ability to still not compromise on quality whilst fully managing a large labour force is a major facet of this role. Ultimately, the key to this role is the ability to liaise and work with key stakeholders at all levels in order to ensure repeat business and develop existing relationships with a range of clients, as well as driving forward a motivated site workforce and ensuring that projects stick to planned programmes and budgets.
Perhaps you're currently working for an M&E Building Services contractor in either an Electrical Project Engineer or Electrical Project Manager role and you are looking for a new challenge by leading the project management on a variety of Building Services projects where you'll work closely with the end user client.
At this stage, you'll need to be able to demonstrate a recent track record in electrical project engineering and management experience in an M&E Building Services organisation. You should have a wide and well developed commercial awareness as well as a track record on delivering on both new build and refurbishment commercial projects.
