Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the engineering team to ensure the successful delivery of the power transmission frameworks. 
  • Oversee the planning, design, and implementation of engineering solutions, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Collaborate closely with project stakeholders to identify requirements and develop innovative engineering solutions to meet project objectives.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to the engineering team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Monitor project progress and performance, identifying and addressing any issues or risks that may arise.
  • Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards throughout the project lifecycle.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in an engineering management role, ideally within the construction or infrastructure sector.
  • Strong technical knowledge and understanding of power transmission systems and related engineering principles.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage and motivate team members.
  • Experience managing complex engineering projects, with a track record of delivering results on time and within budget.
  • Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards governing engineering practices in Scotland is advantageous.
