Are you an experienced Estimator looking for an exciting new opportunity?

We at Contract Scotland are in partnership with a well-established fit-out/refurbishment contractor in North Lanarkshire who are looking to appoint a motivated and capable Estimator.

This company are regarded as one of the UK's leading main contractors, having delivered a number of successful projects in some logistically challenging and live environments, thus growing their business and reputation exponentially.

Our client specialises in the bespoke and revitalising refurbishment of commercial spaces and have undertaken projects in public healthcare, education and financial sectors. The dynamic nature of the business means they are not slowing down any time soon and we are happy to represent them as a supportive employer and highly regarded construction company.

In this role, your duties will include:
• Preparation of work to be estimated by gathering proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents
• Identifying labour, material, and time requirements by studying proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents
• Computing costs by analysing labour, material, and time requirements
• Presenting prepared estimates by assembling and displaying numerical and descriptive information
• Preparation of special reports by collecting, analysing, and summarising information and trends
• Maintaining technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing technical publications
• Contributing to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

As an Estimator, you will have confidence in your estimating abilities and effective communication skills. Our client needs an ambitious individual who will be able to keep up with the progression of the company, progressing along with it in your career under the guidance of their skilled commercial team.
