We're recruiting for a family owned SME specialist contractor with sustainable work with some really interesting clients.
Whilst the majority of their business focuses in racking systems and storage solutions, they also provide a wide variety of interior design solutions including mezzanine floors, and fitouts for various industrial markets.
As the business is seeing another profitable year with further room for growth, they have identified what looks to be a promising opportunity for a new person to join and compliment their team. The role would be ideal for an ambitious estimator from a subcontracting background or an up and coming estimator from a fitout background.
In general, this will be a varied role that will allow anyone with experience in estimating and procurement to build their skillset. Not only could the business use support in developing estimates for their core services, but they would also benefit from added expertise to push forward the fitout side of the business at this stage as it is a division with lots of potential to grow. As part of your role, there is also the potential to take increased responsibility for managing procurement processes to ensure efficiency and beneficial relationship management across their supply chain. To be clear, this is a very stable and established business with strong partnerships in place, but there is always more that can be done to improve their practices and procedures.

Will you be considered?
• Do you have at least 3 years experience in an estimating or pricing role in the built environment in some shape or form?
• Do you understand how to price fitout projects from first principals? Or, can you take the initiative to communicate with internal stakeholders and your supply chain to understand the labour, material and time requirements of a new project?
• Do you have experience managing supplier relationships?
