Quantity Surveyor

We are seeking a freelance Quantity surveyor, with extensive Power or Rail experience gained whilst working for a construction contractor, to work on a number of Civil Engineering projects in the West of Scotland.

The role will involve dealing with a range of post contract duties, dealing with the cost management of various aspects of each project. This will include dealing with both the client and subcontractors, looking at variations and ensuring each project runs to specified budgets.

Candidates must be qualified to Degree level in Quantity Surveying and have a strong track record in Civil Engineering, ideally in Rail or Power Generation. They will have a good understanding of NEC forms of Contract coupled with a strong commercial acumen and client facing skills

On offer is a 2-3 month contract (which is likely to be extended) offering a competitive rate, up to £30 per hour on a limited company basis.
