Contract Scotland are currently seeking a General Foreman/Site Supervisor to oversee the earthworks and R/C foundations on a pumping station project North of Aberdeen.

Working as part of the project team, you will be responsible for overseeing the excavations of several dozen individual foundations, followed by the RC works

The bulk of the day will be spent on site, supervising what will be a fairly labour intensive operation. You should have previous temporary works experience and have the ability to read RC drawings and sign off excavations from a Temp Works perspective. This project is being delivered within a highly controlled environment (COMAH site) therefore you should have previous experience adhering to strict Health & Safety procedures. SSSTS qualification is the minimum site qualification required for this position.

What you can expect:
• Start date in early January - Monday 13th
• 3 month duration
• Hours are currently 7.30 - 5pm however will be extending to 7pm in the New Year
• Weekend working every second weekend

Our client will consider those willing to work away from home. Please note if this is the case, then an all in rate would be considered to cover your accommodation costs

To be considered for this position, you must have demonstratable civil engineering project experience as a general foreman or site supervisor with exposure to earthworks and concrete.
