Contract Scotland are working in partnership with a well-known Fit-Out & Consultancy company that are looking for a Graduate Architectural Technologist in their Dundee office.

As an Architectural Technologist you will report directly into the Design & Build Manager and Liaise with both client and design team.
You will work as part of a team to deliver a wide variety of projects in the commercial sector. As a Graduate Architectural Technologist, you will provide technical building design services and solutions.

Duties & Responsibilities:
• Preparing and submitting planning and warrant applications
• Collaborating with designers at concept stage followed by preparation of design, construction, and tender information within programme constraints of fast-track design and build projects.
• Preparation of pre-construction information within Space Solutions framework in compliance with requirements of CDM regulations 2015
• Measured Surveys of buildings/services and production of existing AutoCAD drawings
• Attending client and contractor meetings and producing minutes of same
• Collaboration with internal contracts team on cost and construction matters, attending sites and providing solutions to queries.
• Liaising with the client through the project life cycle under supervision of the studio director

Requirements:
• HND in architectural technology
• Sound knowledge and application of the Scottish technical handbook with regards to non-domestic building design
• Sound knowledge of AutoCAD is essential
• 3D modelling and rendering
• Problem solver who takes ownership of tasks and sees them through
• Work Independently or as part of a team
• Can work in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent written & communication skills
• Good commercial awareness
