Health and Safety Advisor

A civil engineering contractor specialising in ports & maritime works is looking to recruit a Health & Safety Advisor to work on a new project in the Western Isles of Scotland.

As Health & Safety Advisor you will take the lead in supporting a safe working environment allowing works to be delivered promptly and in full accordance with all relevant health & safety standards.

To apply for the role you should have:
  • A minimum of 5 year's experience in a site based Health & Safety role
  • Direct experience working on civil engineering projects. Prior marine experience would be highly advantageous.
  • Formal Health & Safety qualification such as NEBOSH or equivalent

In addition, you should also have a very pro-active, adaptable nature, good people skills as well as a high standard of written communication. On offer is a competitive salary. Living away costs will also be covered.
