Are you a Health & Safety Manager with a passion for driving a positive a safety and well-being culture throughout the industry? Working on some of the most prestigious construction projects in Britain, they strive to be an industry leader in Health, Safety & Well-being, with a focus on learning, continuous improvement and staff engagement at all levels. In addition, the opportunity exists to engage externally with industry peers and institutions giving you the opportunity to learn from and influence the wider industry.
Primarily based within the Edinburgh office you will be responsible for;
- Provide expert Health, Safety & Well-being guidance to staff at all levels throughout project lifecycles ensuring standards are met or exceeded.
- Carry out detailed analysis of safety systems and protocols, continually looking to improve effectiveness.
- Liaising with external partners and stakeholders
- Coordinate and lead HS&W training initiatives
- Collaborate with industry peers as part of working groups/committees to try positive cultural change within the UK industry
To apply you should have;
- IOSH membership and Chartered Status (or working towards)
- Proven leadership abilities within HS&W management
- A passion and drive for self learning and continuous improvement
- Knowledge and insight in to driving a positive HS&W culture within a construction environment
- Formal qualifications/training in Mental Health First Aid would be highly desirable
