A respected civil engineering contractor is looking to appoint a new HSEQ Manager to join their senior management team.
The main purpose of the role is to lead and maintain an effective HSEQ culture across the business through the adherence to the applicable company management systems. The business can offer a family-like working culture, accessible offices and a varied portfolio of projects across in civil infrastructure, public utilities and building.
The HSEQ Manager will take the lead in the review and improvement of HSEQ management systems on behalf of the business, supporting its various departments in adhering to effective, fit for purpose policies and procedures. The HSEQ Manager will also regularly visit sites promoting awareness of HSEQ systems and generally ensuring a safety conscious culture is embraced throughout.
You will represent the company in ISO Audits, taking a lead role in implementing recommendations/amendments required and work to maintain robust management systems for Quality, Environmental and Health & Safety within the business.
To apply for this role, you should be:
• Highly experienced in Health, Safety, Environmental & Quality management.
• Have proven experience in a construction and/or civil engineering contracting environment
• The ability to communicate effectively and act as a positive ambassador for HSEQ at all levels within the business
• Possess a full, clean UK Driving License
