Contract Scotland are working with an established multidisciplinary design consultancy as they look for a Hydraulic Modeller to join their Glasgow based team on a permanent basis.

What will you be doing at a Hydraulic Modeller?
You will liaise with legislative bodies, such as local authorities and SEPA, as well as other project members to ensure that projects are delivered within the set timescales. Projects include several water and drainage projects including: river engineering, flood studies and protection, hydro-power, dams and reservoirs, drainage design, municipal water supply and wastewater.

You will ideally:
• Be degree qualified in Civil Engineering (or similar)
• With excellent communication skills and knowledge of governing requirements
• Have proven knowledge and expertise in Flood Risk management
• Be capable of producing hydraulic models (ideally using ISIS and TUFLOW packages)
• Have experience in drainage design (ideally using micro-drainage software)
