Contract Scotland is looking to source a Land Buyer for one of our fife-based clients, a very successful housebuilder within both the private and affordable sector.

The role will be focused on two main areas: acquiring land to meet the company’s target output for both private and affordable housing and secondly, managing the planning and approvals process to the point of purchase.

Based in their Fife office, you will be working with landowners, agents, and property professionals in order to effectively manage the process.

Key Experience Required
• Minimum of 2 years of land buying of planning experience, either with another housebuilder, or in a property-related role
• Proven ability to liaise effectively with internal and external teams to achieve a successful outcome
• Good report writing skills and eye for detail, with excellent computer literacy in MS office packages
• Demonstrable experience in effective negotiation and influencing to attain positive results
• Driver’s License
