One of the most flexible and employee focussed M&E Contractors in the UK are currently looking to add a Senior M&E Quantity Surveyor to their regional Scottish operation based near Helensburgh.

Currently, all live operations of this £20mil t/o regional business exists within the defence sector on traditional M&E Building Services installation projects across a 10 year framework. This contractor is synonymous for delivering a very high quality of M&E installation and also has a great reputation for staff retention, employee engagement and is very much a business which prides itself on its exceptional service to their clients. Due to continued growth and an increase in project opportunity within the 10 year framework, they require to add to the commercial resource in Scotland in which would be a lead QS role across the full Scottish operations.

The successful candidate will be responsible for all M&E Quantity Surveying duties including:
  • Procurement and management of Subcontractor's
  • Accurate cost forecasting
  • Pricing add submissions of variations
  • Cost and risk management
  • Monthly Commercial Reporting
  • Commercial guidance and supporting the Site team

The right person should have a either an electrical and/or mechanical background within the Building Services contracting industry and have an/or have experience of commercially managing Building Services projects, ideally on a larger scale. You should have proven track record running your own projects with the ability to manage multiple specialist M&E packages on larger projects. Good communication skills are essential to liaise with new and existing clients both pre-and post-contract.

On offer from this reputable contractor is an annual salary ranging from £50k-£60k per annum, car allowance or company car, pension contributory and package and private healthcare.
