A successful Engineering Consultancy working within commercial, defence, education and retail sectors is looking to add a new Mechanical Design Engineer to join their team. The main purpose of the role will be to produce designs and technical specifications for mechanical building services including heating and ventilation systems for both new build and refurbishment contracts. Additionally, the role may require some condition surveying of services in commercial properties.
To apply for this role, you should be:
• Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services Engineering
• Have proven experience in a design consultancy environment
• Possess demonstrable experience in design of building services for both new build and refurb projects
• Having a working knowledge of applicable design software packages such as Hevacomp and AutoCAD
• Be familiar with BREEAM standards and their application throughout the design process
