This Building Services contractor's expanding business operation is currently experiencing a period of growth due to winning multiple projects across primarily the Central Belt and wider Edinburgh area. Joining an existing projects team, you'll be responsible for the full mechanical project management of smaller to mid-sized M&E Building Services projects between the value of £100k-£4mil particularly on projects such as offices fit-outs, hotels, public sector work with both local authorities as well as educational bodies. This business is particularly well known for working direct to end user clientele and at times do act as the principal contractor on their projects, however they do still complete various projects on behalf of main contractors, most of which are in the East of Scotland and within the Edinburgh region. On top of which, this well-established Building Services contractor has an outstanding reputation staff retention and for employee engagement and are one of the longest established businesses in the sector.
We're looking for someone who can bring their technical expertise and commercial acumen to lead the Mechanical engineering function on many key projects for the organisation. A key success factor to this role would be your ability to deliver projects whilst still ensuring a high quality of product and client satisfaction which is a key success factor to the. Ultimately, the key to this role is the ability to liaise and work with key stakeholders at all levels in order to ensure repeat business and develop existing relationships with major Main Contractors and end-user clients with a service delivery focused contractor whilst still ensuring the commercial success on projects
Perhaps you're currently working for an M&E Building Services Contractor in either a Mechanical Project Engineer or Mechanical Project Manager role and you are looking for a new challenge by leading the project management function for multiple Mechanical projects.
At this stage, you'll need to be able to demonstrate extensive Mechanical project engineering and management experience whilst displaying a commercial awareness within an M&E Building Services organisation. You should have a developed portfolio of completed Building Services installation from pre-commencement through to completion.
