Network Route Engineer
We have been enlisted by a reputable, well-established and market-leading civil engineering contractor as they look for a Network Route Engineer to join their regional team based in Glasgow. The primary objective of this exciting position is to provide engineering input and assist in managing the network asset within a Trunk Road Maintenance and Maintenance Contract.
Within this interesting role you will be accountable for developing permanent repair solutions for repair works, preparation of flood reports, along with actively making significant contributions to the development of planned structural and routine maintenance works. You will be in a client facing role and will be expected to liaise regularly with operations and give advice on development control, meanwhile ensuring relevant health and safety regulations are adhered to. Furthermore you will carry out field inspections of both depots and sites.

The successful applicant will:
- Hold a valid UK driving licence
- Be SVQ qualified in Engineering ( Civil / Structural )
- Be able to work in a team environment and individually when required
- A strong communicator due to high levels of client interaction within this role
- Competent with I.T.
