Contract Scotland are pleased to have teamed up with one of Scotland's most reputable main contractors to search for their new Operations Manager.

Our client is not only award winning, but a Scottish construction heavyweight and they're looking for someone with a strong track record of multiple project management who can join their senior team.

With exciting projects in the pipeline you will:
  • Manage the construction of all projects in the region from acceptance to completion.
  • Participate in pre con/bid process of projects to meet the client's needs and requirements.
  • Liaise with Clients, design team and customers during preconstruction phase.
  • Provide leadership to site teams and help build training programs required.
  • Help draw up and monitor works programme.
  • Promote and ensure health & safety is adhered to.
  • Prepare and deliver monthly reports, attend main board meetings and regional team meetings.
  • Recommend a shortlist of sub-contractors.
  • Work with Commercial team to negotiate best package.
  • Agree programs with sub-contractors .
  • Operate as a representative for the company at client/design meetings.
  • Handover projects to client.
  • Assess non-productivity for improvement suggestions.
