Contract Scotland has an immediate opportunity for an experienced Administrator to join our client, a leading manufacturing and distribution client, based in Cumbernauld. This is a 12 month Fixed Term Contract to cover maternity leave.

This is a full time role where you will work 37.5 hours each week, Monday to Thursday 8:30am 5pm and Fridays 8:30am to 4:30pm

You will work as part of the busy Production Administration team and will provide support to the manufacturing, warehousing and repairs team. It is a varied role where your main duties will include:

• Raising and issuing all orders on the system to the production department
• Processing all parts adjustments and parts transfers
• Maintaining the production administration email inbox and implementing any changes required to orders
• Dealing with all incident reports that relate to the production department.
• Raising PO’s and updating system with any changes
• Liaising with multiple departments and contacts internally and building good working relationships
• General administration assistance as requested by Managers
• Adhering to company policy and procedures to maintain health and safety
• Updating processes procedures as and when required

You must have previous administration experience, preferably from the manufacturing sector however full training will be provided. You will be a confident communicator and will enjoy working as part of a small, supportive team. A working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and Outlook is essential.
