Our permanent team are working in partnership with a long standing client who require a Project Manager to join their business. This position has arose due to an increase in workload both from their key clients who they have gained repeat business from over the years and new clients who they are looking to develop relationships with.
This busy Regional Building Contractor operate in the commercial and industrial sectors as a main contractor on new build and refurbishment contracts across Central Scotland.
The role of Project Manager with this company will long term involve managing a variety of new build, extension and refurbishment projects in areas such as Glasgow, West Lothian, Fife and Edinburgh. The first contract the Project Manager will be assigned is the 1st
phase of a mixed use development in Fife where our client has been appointed to build flatted developments with commercial units comprising of a steel frame and timber roof.
The ideal candidate for this role will have had previous experience in the following:
- A client facing PM role managing new build projects in the construction and/or housing sectors
- Knowledge in both steel frame and timber frame construction
- Working closely with the commercial and design teams in delivering a project
- Management of projects in and around the £5m in value mark
The position will offer a salary package for the successful candidate with standard hours being Monday to Friday.
