Contract Scotland has an immediate opportunity for an experienced Purchase Ledger Assistant to join our client, a respected and established house builder, based in Livingston. This is a full time, permanent position offering an immediate start and the chance to work in a small, supportive accounts team.

This is an office based role where your hours of work will be Monday to Thursday 8.30am to 5pm and Friday 8.30am to 4pm.

You will be joining an established Accounts Team, where your duties will include:

• Processing volume invoices for the business
• Ensuring invoices are recorded correctly on the system and match relevant purchase order numbers
• Obtaining approval for manual invoices
• Carrying out scheduled payment runs
• Dealing with invoice queries with internal and external stakeholders
• Answering queries relating to payments
• Providing cover for other team members as and when required

You will must have previous experience working in a similar role. A working knowledge of Navision would be ideal and experience of Microsoft Office is essential, specifically Excel. You will have the ability to work accurately and efficiently, ensuring all work is completed within agreed timescales.
