Purchase Ledger Clerk/Accounts Assistant
Are you experienced in Purchase Ledger Clerk? And do you enjoy working in a fast pace environment?
Contract Scotland is working with an Glasgow based construction company as they look to appoint an Purchase Ledger Clerk/Accounts Assistant to their expanding team. Working in a busy accounts department, as part of this your role, your responsibility will include the following:
• Purchase ledger invoices
• Monthly payment runs
• Payment application control
• Checking/processing invoices
• Subcontract account monitoring
• Credit checking/monitoring
To be suited to this role you must be able to demonstrate a proven track record in a similar role. You must have an ability to problem solve as well as being able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines whilst maintaining the highest standard of work. A background in construction would also be advantageous.
