A privately-owned multifaceted Principal Contractor is looking to recruit a Quantity Surveyor to join their team on a permanent basis. This company have enjoyed a successful run of project awards across Scotland and are looking to grow their existing team in order to deliver this additional workload.
Our client has firmly established themselves in the Civil Engineering sector across the UK, and covers a wide range of projects including: infrastructure, renewables, land remediation, landscaping, drainage, culverts, residential developments and frameworks for example.
This role would be suited to an experienced Quantity Surveyor who will be able to hit the ground running, reporting into the Commercial Manager and working alongside experienced Surveyors. As Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for commercially managing multiple projects from tender through to final account, providing commercial assistance to operational teams and others when required. What do you need to apply?
• Relevant qualifications within Quantity Surveying
• Previous experience within a similar role within the Civil Engineering sector
• Organisation skills required for managing multiple projects at one time
• Good interpersonal & negotiation skills, as well as the ability to liaise with both internal and external stakeholders
