Contract Scotland are recruiting for an experienced and ambitious Quantity Surveyor, covering projects throughout Glasgow and the Central Scotland. Working for this fast-paced company, you will ideally have a background and/or experience in Fit-out and Refurbishment.
To be considered for this opportunity, you’ll have a forward-thinking approach and strive for quality in all tasks you undertake. You’ll be involved in working closely with others so it’s vital you have a good teamwork ethic and are able to deal with multiple stakeholders.
As a Quantity Surveyor you will be expected to perform traditional Surveyor duties, ordering and pricing materials, procurement of sub – contractors, managing budgets, making sure sub-contractors are paid on time, valuations, performance management, monthly projections, and bill of quantities.

The Successful Candidate will ideally demonstrate:
• Strong work ethic
• The ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Good commercial awareness
• Organisation skills required for managing multiple projects at one time
• Good interpersonal & negotiation skills, as well as the ability to liaise with both internal and external stakeholders.
