Our client is going through a sustained period of growth and have secured numerous project wins. They are looking to extend their commercial team and are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor for a new 2 year project based in Stirling. Operating predominately within roads, surfacing, and groundworks packages, our client has a long-standing reputation within the market.

This role would be suited to an experienced Quantity Surveyor who will be able to hit the ground running, you will report to the Commercial Director and Commercial Manager. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for commercially managing multiple projects from tender through to final account, providing commercial assistance to operational teams and others when required.

As a Quantity Surveyor, your key responsibilities will be:
• Overseeing projects from tender through to final account.
• Producing accurate forecasts of project costs.
• Commercial reporting.
• Providing commercial assistance to operational teams & others when required.
• Interacting with internal & external decision makers.

Background/ Experienced required:
• Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
• Previous experience 3-5 years within a similar role within the Civil Engineering sector ideally within surfacing or groundwork sectors.
• NEC experience would be advantageous but not necessary however you should be able to demonstrate a background in managing complex forms of contracts.
• Organisation skills required for managing multiple projects at one time.
• Good interpersonal & negotiation skills, as well as the ability to liaise with both internal and external stakeholders.
