Our client are seeking a highly motivated Quantity Surveyor with skills in affordable housing to join their team in Glasgow. The ideal candidate will have experience in cost planning, procurement, tendering, contract administration, and post-contract services in the affordable housing sector.


– Cost planning, estimating and budgeting for affordable housing projects

– Procurement of materials, services and subcontractors

– Tendering and contract administration

– Post-contract services, including valuations, variations, and final accounts

– Liaising with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders

– Ensuring projects are completed within budget and on time

– Providing support to other team members as required


– Degree in Quantity Surveying or related field

– Relevant experience in the affordable housing sector

– Strong numerical and analytical skills

– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

– Ability to work independently and as part of a team

– Knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, and industry standards
