Excited to be partnering with a long-term Client of Contract Scotland to work on an important appointment within their Commercial Team. Specifically, we are looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to assist with the Commercial aspects of all Housing Developments within the remit. If you can deliver the afore mentioned, we are welcoming interest from those working within either a Housebuilding, Main Contracting or Private Practice environment.
A multi award winning developer is a great place to build your reputation and a great brand to align yourself with so if you want to work somewhere that allows you to be genuinely proud of your product then get in touch. Investing in people is paramount in this industry so it is refreshing to see a team with such little turn over where employees are keen to grow with the company and enjoy an environment that encourages them to do so.
You will need a proven track record and be able to demonstrate experience of the following:
- Preparation of initial development viability
- Preparation and Management of development budgets and tender packages
- Cost Control
- Appointment of Sub-Contractors
- Preparation of development cash flow projections
- Coins experience is beneficially but not a necessity
Working with a Developer directly is a great opportunity for those within Private Practice to progress your career in terms of both experience and reward, it is also a good opportunity for a Candidate from a Main Contracting background to break into the busy Housing industry. An attractive package as well as company vehicle and guaranteed sustained work is all on offer.
For a further information or an informal discussion please get in touch with Laura Mitchell on 01786 44 66 51.
